After graduation I treated myself to a well deserved vacation to the beautiful Indonesian island, Bali. I spent four weeks resting by the beach and eating all the delicious food!
I graduated with my Ph.D. in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Tufts University May 19th, 2019!
On April 19th, 2019 I passed my PhD thesis defense oral presentation to earn my doctorate in chemical engineering from Tufts University! I am beyond excited to have earned such a prestigious title.
Officially signed with Maggie Inc. of Boston MA for representation. I'm grateful for the opportunity and excited to see where I can take it.

My abstract titled "Balancing Kinetic and Thermodynamic Barriers to Isomerization Catalysis in Probiotic Lactobacillus plantarum" was accepted for oral presentation at the 2018 American Institute of Chemical Engineering (AiCHE) conference in Pittsburgh, PA in October. I am looking forward to presenting my results and receiving feedback on my work. If anyone has suggestions for places to visit or friends in the area please let me know!
I presented my work titled "Balancing kinetic and thermodynamic barriers to isomerization catalysis in probiotic Lactobacillus plantarum" at the 32nd Annual Protein Society Symposium in Boston, MA on July 9th, 2018. Thanks to the organizers for allowing me to present my work and to everyone I met who provided valuable feedback on my research goals!
